You want to know the saddest thing about this bag?

It’s spent the vast majority of the last year and a half in a dust bag, in a box, on the furthest shelf of my closet.  Yup, I waited years to finally buy my dream bag… And then I was too scared to ever wear it.

But the new year means I can adjust my attitude a little bit, right?  I’m not going to carry it unprotected in the rain or leave it sitting around at a party, but it should definitely see the light of day more often!  What a shame otherwise, right?

I found this jacket on sale after Christmas, and even though its a little warm for Texas weather, I loved it so much I couldn’t resist!  And the bracelet is too cute — it’s a tiny diamond on a bangle!  They come in every color, but I loved the simple, sleek black!

Chanel bag, Milly jacket, Forever 21 shorts and earrings, Theyskens Theory wedges, gifted Duepunti bracelet.

Too hot for Houston maybe, but perfect for NYFW!

Great idea to protect from rain. Also your jacket is looking too great and nice. Like it too much.

How Chanel-y of you! But really obviously your bag is to die for and your whole outfit is quite an appropriate canvas for it!

It is a gorgeous bag. I know what you mean though – I have a pink Jimmy Choo bag I wore out at night last summer (it was like, my second time ever wearing it) and I have no idea how this happened but I broke the clasp! I had it on the table next to me and then by the end of the night the clap had jammed! I’m so upset! So that incident has kind of traumatized me, and I rarely bring my nice bags out in public. (The bag has since been fixed, but still…)
