We had a rainy day last Saturday, and I took it as an opportunity to make use of our house’s fireplace! There’s something so cozy about being snuggled up by the fire — I knew I’d made a good decision when both of the dogs immediately joined me. Since we don’t really get winter in Houston (not that I’m complaining), I have to recreate it when I can!
I bought this sweater a few weeks ago, and it’s quickly turned into one of my lounge-around-the-house staples! It’s super soft and comfy — and, of course, cotton! Speaking of which, have you guys checked out the finalists on the Road to the Runway website yet? It’s only been up for a few days, and over a hundred and fifty thousand people have voted! I know who my favorites are… who are yours?! (And as an extra bonus, you enter to win $1440 each week by voting!)
Sabo Skirt sweater, Splendid leggings (old), J. Crew slippers (insanely old), C. Wonder and Kenneth Jay Lane bracelets, Ippolita necklace.

I love that sweater! Isn’t it great to be able to use your fireplace? Haha.

You look so darling! I love that sweater and your bracelets.
And I just voted for my choices for the northwest. Sad I didn’t make the finals… Oh well

I wish we had a fireplace in the house that I’m living in now. I wouldn’t move from in front of it!

The polka dot style is considered a basic. Its cute, timeless appeal makes it a crowd favorite fashion style.
