The mix ended up like paste before even attempting to cook them. As soon as they hit the pan, they where mounds of dried paste on the outside and mush on the inside. I threw them out. These were even better than the pancake house down the street that originally got me hooked on cinnamon pancakes. I added a bit of ground cloves to the batter and it added a deeper layer of flavor that was to die for. I love your blog and I'm looking forward to trying more of your recipes.
