everyday classics

This outfit, for me, is all about the pieces that I would wear every single day if I could!  The soft, flowy neutrals, metallics, and delicate jewelry that epitomizes the trends I saw during New York Fashion Week — but translated into real life!

First, I have to tell you guys about these rings, because I wear them EVERY DAY.  Seriously, I have gotten more compliments on them than almost anything else in my entire closet — and people die when they find out they’re part of a SET that is SIXTEEN DOLLARS [1].  Unbelievable, I know — people have asked me if they’re real diamonds, that’s how gorgeous they look.  I love all three rings in the set, but these two delicate ones are my absolute favorites.  These gorgeous rose-gold earrings are part of another amazing set [2] — they’re so beautiful, I can’t seem to take them off!

Two other major trends for this fall and next spring: metallic accents (like this amazing Mark bag [3]!) and delicate, flowy skirts.  After so many seasons of statement pieces and structured forms, it’s kind of refreshing to see so many beautiful, light, airy skirts.  And adding a metallic accent is the perfect way to bring an outfit from day to night!  Just gorgeous.
