Even in Texas, fall is here — although I guess that for the rest of you, it’s almost winter! But now that I’m breaking out my sweaters (sometimes) and the leaves are starting to change (well… a few of them), I wanted to do a little video about the changes I make to my skincare routine in the fall!
The most important one is something I do year-round, but need to remember especially in the winter: SPF! It’s crucial to use SPF 15 or more every day (like Simple Skincare’s Vital Vitamin Day Cream), even when you’re not sitting out in the sun! I also make sure to drink 8 or more glasses of water per day, even in the winter months. Simple has some great moisturizers to choose from.
What else? Switch to a slightly heavier moisturizer, because your skin won’t be as greasy as it is in the summer, and it’s more likely to dry out! If you’re only using moisturizer once a day, switch to twice a day for some extra protection.
And be sure to eat a balanced diet with lots of fruits and veggies! I’ve got a few recipe ideas for you guys coming up!
