YUM!!! I also tried a sweet variation: sprinkle the fries with cinnamon and sugar. Then after they are done cooking, drizzle with honey!

do these come out crispy? I have never had a crispy sweet potato fry! I don’t know if the water content is too high or what! I made beer battered butternut squash “fries” once and achieved the texture I was looking for (crunchy on the outside soft and gooey in the middle)!

Strangely enough, I fell in love with sweet potato fries when I was living out in Cleveland. One of my favorite restaurants – Max’s Deli in Rocky River – offered them with a side of cinnamon sugar. So good!
