I just made a batch of these because my fiance is all about his soft pretzels and they are delicious! I have never made pretzels that tasted this good or were this easy. Thank you so much...I can tell these are going to become a staple in our diet

Thank you so much for this tasty and easy-to-follow recipe! I'm a mess in the kitchen and have never actually cooked with yeast before, but these turned out fantastic! I brushed them with melted butter right as they came out for some extra butteryness (which I really like.) Thanks again!

I'm having trouble with this recipe. I proofed the yeast and it was just fine. Nice and bubbly and creamy once it was activated. I mixed everything in and kneeded it for a few minutes and then set it to rise and I got just a small amount of rising. I thought maybe I did it wrong so I tossed that dough and tried again and again, it didn't rise correctly. Any thoughts?

Made these last night! Make sure that you put the active yeast in WARM water, if you use HOT water, the yeast will not activate. They were delicious!! I would make them again with crab and cheese on top.
