Ever since I started adding style photos to this blog, I’ve found myself much more willing to try new stores. Whereas at one point I had a rotation of 5 or 6 stores where I bought 90% of my clothes, for the last few months I’ve stopped in anywhere with a good window. Not surprisingly, I’ve had some great finds that totally wouldn’t have made it onto my radar a year or two ago.
One of those finds is Brooklyn Industries. I used to think that their clothes are too grungy and hipster-ish for me, but when I actually went inside a few weeks ago, I found some very cute, relaxed, elegant pieces. This dress fits like pajamas and it’s polished enough for work — does it get any better than that?
Oh, wait. Yes, it does. It’s also on sale for $50! And still available in almost every size. See, it’s a good thing to venture off the beaten path every once in a while!

Sara — It’s actually my grandmother’s — so vintage. It’s just a plain gold bracelet with a little detail, not sure you can see much in the photos.
