So, Chad may have accused me of sticking my belly out in these photos. I don’t think I was doing that — my body seems to change every single day, and some days it looks big and others it looks smaller! (And if I did, it definitely wasn’t on purpose!) But I can’t deny that these photos probably make my bump seem a little bigger than it actually is right now — case in point, this Instagram photo  was taken three days later, and I think my stomach looks a bit smaller there.
It’s funny, I don’t think I’ve put this much day-to-day thought into how my body looks for years, but every morning I pop out of bed and check my stomach in the mirror! I still appreciate being able to “hide” that I’m pregnant for work-related meetings, but I also can’t wait to have a visible bump!
How far along? 13 Weeks
Total weight gain/loss: 5 pounds
Maternity clothes? I’ve bought a few pairs of maternity pants — jeans from LOFT, white jeans from ASOS, and hot pink jeans from A Pea in the Pod (couldn’t resist some amazing sales)! I’m not wearing them yet — I’ve been mostly sticking to leggings and dresses — but as the weather gets colder, I definitely will be!
Stretch marks? Nope.
Symptoms: Amazingly, my skin is clearing up after some rough breakouts during the first trimester! I’ve been kind of emotional and hormonal lately, which is a bummer — usually I’m as laid back as they come, but lately, not so much. Hopefully that will settle down too!
Sleep: Has been great! I slept terribly before getting pregnant, and so far, the last few months have been better than I’ve slept in years. If this continues, Chad and I are going to end up with, like, ten kids just to cure my insomnia!
Best moment this week: Non-baby related stuff! Made some great progress with some some new cases for my law practice, which was very exciting! (My website  is now up, if you want to check it out!)
Worst moment of the week: Spending seven hours in the doctor’s office after a screw-up (theirs, not mine) with scheduling an appointment. Literally, seven hours.
Have you told family and friends: Yes!
Miss Anything? Wine! LOL, sorry if this ends up being 27 more weeks of me saying that I miss alcohol!
Movement: None yet.
Food cravings: Halloween candy! Not sure I can really blame the baby for that one…
Anything making you queasy or sick: Lately, no. Skipping breakfast is still a bad idea, but I’ve been having whole wheat toast and that’s been more than enough.
Have you started to show yet: A little!

Happy or Moody most of the time: Probably Moody… Hopefully that will turn around soon!
Looking forward to: So many things! Decorating the nursery, buying baby clothes, and MEETING this little creature who’s taken over my body and thoughts for the last 3.5 months!
