Rinse the cod milt under cold running water and pat dry with paper towels.
Place the cod milt in a shallow bowl and season with salt and pepper.
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of oil.
Add the cod milt to the skillet and cook for 2 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
In a small bowl, mix together 1 tablespoon of mirin and 1 tablespoon of soy sauce.
Pour the mixture over the cod milt in the skillet and cook for an additional 2 minutes, stirring occasionally to coat evenly with the sauce.
Serve hot with steamed rice or vegetables as desired. Enjoy!.
