Ingredients
1 pound tomatillos, husked and rinsed
1/2 white onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and chopped
1/4 cup fresh cilantro leaves, chopped
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon ground cumin
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
1/4 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
Directions
Place chopped chiles, tomatillo, cilantro, garlic, and water in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil over high heat, reduce to a simmer, and cook until chiles and tomatillo are softened, about 10 minutes.
