Ingredients

1/2 a medium peach, sliced

3 bing cherries, pitted and stemmed

1/4 ounce Demerara syrup

1/2 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice

1 1/2 ounces white rum

Garnish: peach slice

Directions

Muddle peach slices and cherries in the bottom of a cocktail shaker until all the juices are released from the fruit. Add Demerara syrup, lime juice, and rum. Fill shaker with ice and shake for about 10 seconds. Using both the cocktail strainer and a fine mesh strainer, strain the cocktail into a glass. Garnish with peach slice.
