America’s Style

December 3rd, 2012 · Print Print

I have a serious fashion weakness: I cannot even start to resist an amazing piece of clothing with a flag print!  To be totally honest, I can’t resist home goods or nicknacks, or basically anything with a flag print on it (all I need is an iPhone case)!

So when I found this sweater — and even better, when I realized that it was 100% cotton, I knew I had no hope of resisting!  I don’t save my flag-printed gear for holidays (why would you?) — what better way to show your pride for America’s Style?  I’ve been so excited to see all the entries come in across the country in Cotton’s Road to the Runway, and I’m extra excited to start to see Cotton’s Style Search Squads start to hit the southern cities!  It was almost 80 degrees this weekend, so we Southerns have a huge leg up on the rest of the country!

What items are the ones you guys can’t resist?  Is it key pieces made from cotton, the ones that show national pride, or those perfect pieces by amazing local designers?  Or, even better, all three?!

America Knit sweater, Abercrombie shorts, Zara wedges, J. Crew necklace, gifted Kendra Scott (a fellow Texan!) earrings.

You definitely made the flag look good! I saw a lady wearing an American flag sweatshirt the other day and cringed – too bad she didn’t see your post on how to make it look good before going out!

[...] face it — for a girl who loves her flag prints as much as I do (hello, hello, hello), the Fourth of July is a serious style holiday!  I didn’t buy these as a novelty [...]
