Easy Spring Makeup Tutorial

I know spring hasn’t quite hit most of the country yet, but here in Texas, it’s in full force! And from the moment it warms up, I start thinking about how my beauty routine changes.
For instance: I don’t have to slather on as much Simple Skincare Replenishing Rich Moisturizer every night and morning! I change my moisturizer to the Simple Skincare Protecting Light Moisturizer, which has SPF 15 for those sunnier days! (My foundation also has SPF, so don’t worry, I’m still getting sun protection during the winter!)
And my beauty routine changes too! I start reaching for my bronzer a little more frequently, and easing up on the dramatic eye makeup. Spring is the perfect time to try out a fresh-faced, minimal makeup look, so that’s what I always gravitate towards!
For this look, I created a subtle smoky eye using brown liner, and brown and gold eye shadow. I use the darker brown shadow in the crease and right along my lash line, and then fill in the rest of my eye with shimmery gold. I used a combination of blush and bronzer to highlight my cheekbones, and went with a soft, natural pink lipstick. The end result is makeup that hardly looks like you’re wearing makeup — perfect to accentuate your natural beauty!
