What a way to kick off Fashion Week!

My first presentation was last night, and it was one of the ones I was most excited about — DANNIJO!  You guys remember that I worked with the lovely designers Danielle and Jodie back in December, so when I received the invite for their Fashion Week presentation, I couldn’t wait.

And man, it blew me away.  Everything was executed perfectly, from the models’ hair and makeup to the stunning aboriginal-inspired backdrop.  The jewelry, of course, was the showstopper, but everything fit together so well that the jewelry could really shine — exactly what you hope for when you’re showing off a new collection.

Every single one of these pieces would make a simple day-to-day outfit really pop — the statement necklaces are incredible, but look at how subtly the bracelets, rings and earrings blend in.  I couldn’t pick a favorite with a gun to my head — I just adore them all.

In other news, I’m trying to be diligent about posting during Fashion Week, so I don’t end up with a giant backlog (like last time, eek).  So check back here daily for updates!  This week is off to a great start already, and there’s a LOT more to come!
