By the time you guys read this, Chad and I will be on our way to Texas! This has been such a whirlwind, but I’m excited for this new chapter in our lives!
(As a side note, if you look at the labels on those boxes, OH MY GOSH I have way too many beauty products!)
We’re flying down today with Calvin and Coco in tow, so this hopefully won’t be too much of a break for me with Sugarlaws — I can’t wait till we’re settled and I’m back on a regular posting schedule! Between Fashion Week and this move, it’s been craziness for the beginning (and end) of September.
I also realized that I never posted my photos from the IFB conference, which I went to right before NYFW started! It was such a fun day with so many friends, and a fabulous panel of speakers about the ins and outs of fashion blogging. I was so lucky for amazing skincare line DDF (more on them soon) to sponsor my attending, and it was an awesome day.

{with the always lovely Christine of My Style Pill}

{a fab panel focused on how to monetize a blog — with coco rocha!}

Hi Katy,
I had no idea you and Chad were moving to Texas. Big changes ahead and I certainly hope everything arrives at your new house and you get settled soon.
Please post a photo of Calvin and Coco soon
Travel safe,
Karen

Katy I too just moved from NYC to Houston. It is a huge adjustment, but honestly I love it. It is a much easier way of life, and the people are just so nice. I think that you will really be glad you decided to move.

Welcome to Texas and Houston. At least you are getting a little cooler temperatures than we have had the last month. Good luck with your move. I’m up in The Woodlands.
