Kaboodle Fashion Show

Last night was SO, SO much fun.  Oh my gosh, I’m getting shivers just thinking about it!

Now I basically want to be a runway model all the time, so I’m planning to grow eight inches and lose thirty pounds, all before September Fashion Week.  Um.

Kristen was kind enough to take some video while I was on the runway, so you guys can get a little taste of the fashion show!  It was so much fun to see all the other models (all bloggers, media influencers and Kaboodle users) get over their nerves and totally transform into runway models for the night.  Even me!

Although, you guys might notice in the video that I’m a little shaky.  During the walk-through two hours before the show, I STEPPED OUT OF MY SHOE.  Like, left it halfway down the runway AND HAD TO GO BACK FOR IT.

I put two sets of insoles into them before the actual show started, but during this video, the only thing I am thinking is “Dear God, do not let my show fall off.”

But it didn’t.  I loved, loved, LOVED my dress, hair and makeup for this — I didn’t even want to wash my hair last night, hoping that some of the curls would stay till this morning.

Many thanks to Kaboodle for this amazing event, Bloomingdales for all the clothes, and Paul LaBrecque (especially Caroline and Jasmin) for the gorgeous hair and makeup!

oh my gosh!!! I just did a fashion show too!!! My hair dresser put on a benefit thing, and she asked me to be in it. I got to model three different wedding dresses!!! It was the biggest high I’ve ever gotten!!! I agree, I’m planning on growing a couple more inches and dropping 20 pounds. HA! I’ll be picking up the pictures from the show tomorrow so I hope so post the pics before the weekend! I LOVE your pictures! What a great dress! I bet you pulled off the shoe thing very classy.  : )You’re pure class.

Love the side sweep Katy.  I would be shaky too, other than parties, I don’t do well being on public display
