So, it’s that time of year again. In exactly three weeks, I’ll be leaving for New York Fashion Week, which means that planning has kicked into high year… yesterday. In fact, I already feel like I’m behind.
But at the same time, I’m trying to squeeze in as much de-stressing and relaxation as I can ahead of time! Between massive amounts of travel (four flights in one week), living out of a suitcase, and running from show to show, I know that week is going to be brutal for my skin (and hair, and body, and self generally), so I’m trying to be as good to my skin in advance as I can! Whether that’s an extra dose of Simple Skincare Vital Vitamin Day Cream in the morning before work, or an extra serving of fruits and vegetables during the day, or an extra hour of sleep at night (hey, a girl can dream, right?), I’m determined to get through this season of Fashion Week in the least stress-inducing way!
Because — wait for it — the week might be exhausting and totally overwhelming, but it’s also so much fun. I can’t wait to see everyone, to take in all the amazing clothes, and to just generally soak up the whole experience! Last year, Fashion Week came right before we moved (literally, like, 72 hours after my last show, and let’s never mention that again, because you want to talk about stress?!), and I almost can’t it’s been a whole year since then!
It’s going to be crazy and jam-packed and totally intense. And, obviously, I can’t wait.
