new york fashion week: style squad recap

Our last presentation from the Ecco Domani Fashion Foundation designers was Bibhu Mohapatra, one of my favorites of the week.

And that, seriously, is saying a lot.  Ecco Domani has managed to pick out the best and brightest new designers in every category, and some of the fastest growing names in fashion.  We all had such a blast checking out the collections, hanging out with Robert Verdi and the Ecco Domani team, sipping amazing wine, and just enjoying the awesome experience.

We got to chat with each of the designers during the shows — you guys already saw my Mandy Coon and Pamela Love posts, so I’m going to give you a quick peek into the other designers today!  For more info (and to see my likely-mortifying “Walk Off”), check out the Ecco Domani Facebook Page!

Our Ecco Domani Style Squad with STUDY NY designer Tara St James, who focuses on sustainable designs.

Male models drinking Ecco Domani — what more could a girl ask for?  Designer Kyle Fitzgibbons talked with us for a long time about the differences between menswear and womenswear, and my new resolution is to buy more like a guy — quality over quantity.

Cozy winter knits at M. Patmos.  I’m seriously ready to snuggle up in one of these, and wake up when it’s spring again!

And, back to Bibhu, beacause I couldn’t leave you guys with just a few pictures!

Um, can I take one of those male models home with me? That’d be great, thanks. Oh, and all the dresses too, those would be nice :)
