It’s no secret that jackets aren’t a big part of my wardrobe anymore, so I had to put some serious thought into what I could bring to New York this season that would be cute and still keep me reasonably warm!
Fortunately, I picked up this amazing tweed jacket at the C. Wonder opening back in October — and in scrolling through my posts, I realized that somehow I’ve hardly even put it up on here! (There was this photo from the opening, and a few pics in this post, but that’s it!) I find that absolutely insane, because I’ve probably worn this jacket a hundred times since I got it.
For such a distinctive piece, it’s actually amazingly versatile — it looks tailored and professional over a black shift dress, and a little funky over a patterned blouse. And, amazingly enough, it’s still on sale in a few sizes!
I paired it with this Lanvin top I found at a consignment store in Houston for under $200, and my Theyskens Theory shoes that I’ve worn to death for the past few seasons. All in all, not bad!
