There’s a lot of open road in Texas, and every time I see a long dirt path, some telephone wires, I think… photo time!
Seriously. I can’t get enough of it. Maybe it’s from my years in Manhattan where wide open empty spaces were completely nonexistent? Either way, I have a special place in my heart (and camera) for places like this.
And what perfect way to celebrate the open spaces and tall skies than a flowy white cotton dress? I swear, I would wear this every day if I could. It’s been a little chilly here, so I paired it with my new favorite jean jacket from Zara — I wasn’t sure if the shearling cuffs would be overkill weather-wise in Texas, but they’re perfect for January at least.
Today is the LAST DAY to submit your photos to the Cotton Road to the Runway site, so if you haven’t already yet, make sure to get your photo in by NOON EST! And good luck!
