Preheat oven to 375 degrees F .
In a shallow bowl, mix together honey and melted butter. In another shallow bowl, mix together pecans, salt, and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Dip halibut fillets into honey mixture, then into pecan mixture to coat both sides. Place fillets in the hot skillet and cook for 3 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.
Transfer fillets to a baking dish and bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork. Serve warm.
