1/2 cup butter, softened

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/4 cup packed brown sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 egg

1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

3/4 cup cocoa powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 teaspoon salt

2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips

Directions

Position racks in the center and top third of the oven and preheat to 350 degrees F. Line two half-sheet pans with parchment paper.
