road to the runway!

Remember a few weeks ago, when I told you guys about my trip to New York and an amazing new project I was working on?  I’m SO excited that it’s kicking off this week and I can finally share it with you guys!

It’s a nation-wide street style competition with Cotton, to find amazing style across America!  I’m so incredibly honored to be a part of this awesome campaign, and I’m especially excited to see how Southern style stands up to the rest of the country!  Cotton will be visiting cities across the country and collecting street style submissions on their website, and I really hope that all of you guys (especially my Southern readers) will participate!

The best part?  It’s all leading up to an out of control 24-hour Runway Show in Miami!  Cotton is putting on a look-per-minute Runway show for 24 hours — that’s basically every show of New York Fashion Week condensed into a single day.  I am SO PSYCHED!  The street style winner for each region will get an all-expenses paid trip to Miami for the show (Miami in March?  Yes please!) and to hang out with me, Keiko, Jules, Mattie, Carly and Lisa — the fashion influencers for each region!

So what do you do from here?  First, check out the calendar on the Road to the Runway website to see if the Cotton Style Search Squads are coming to your city!  If they’re not, you can still submit a look on the Road to the Runway website, and vote for your favorite looks!
