style: lord and taylor

So, I’ve actually been to several events at Lord & Taylor recently, all of them culminating with last week’s celebration of their newly overhauled beauty department. And while the other events were fun (and resulted in some beauty products that I use to this day, omg Borghese mud mask), the one last week blew them all out of the park.

I was a little bit obsessed with these rose-models, and literally sat there snapping photos on the beautifully lit ground floor for a good fifteen minutes. Where do you even find a rose hat for a person to wear? Love them.

Did I mention that they were on stilts? And that Denise Richards was there (not on stilts or in a rose hat, but still!)? And I got a Swarovski crystal rose tattoo on my wrist (a temporary one… don’t worry, mom)? And they had human beings hanging from hula hoops attached to the ceiling (picture below)?

Nutso. Now I can’t wait to go back and do some actual shopping.
