Sugarlaws: Living Sweetly.

For the past few weeks, it’s pretty safe to say that I’ve felt like I was living someone else’s life.  Starting with the Emmys and culminating with New York Fashion Week, I’ve been around more glamour and beauty in the past fourteen days than probably ever in my life.  I feel like I need to pinch myself every time I walk into the tents, just to make sure it’s not a dream.

I saw five shows this weekend and attended a number of other events, and I’m wildly exhausted but so happy.  And it’s not over yet!  My poor feet are going to need a month to recover from all the walking around in heels I’m doing this week.

Since I wasn’t in front of a computer all weekend, I didn’t have time to write up a proper post for today.  So for now, I’m just going to leave you with a handful of images from the last few days, and promise more soon.

Above: A gorgeous, airy skirt at Jill Stuart.

Michelle Trachtenberg asking for directions to Rebecca Minkoff.

Simple, feminine shapes and patterns at Rebecca Taylor.

Me with Brad from the Rachel Zoe Project outside the tents.

Fun, flirty patterns at Whitney Eve.

Clean, streamlined shapes at the Trias finale.

Chic, wearable and perfectly accessorized at Rebecca Minkoff.

Celeb-studded front row at Jill Stuart.

A pop of color at Trias.

Showstopping finale at Jill Stuart.

Line of photographers braving the rain on Sunday outside the tents.

So beautiful! You are living the life… Umm and I have to tell you, I went to the Jeffrey Steingarten (who I met!)/David Chang/Anthony Bourdain event at Azan for FNO, and walking out I literally almost ran into Anna Wintour! No one else was around except for a few of her entourage. Sadly didn’t get to snap a pic, but it was surreal!

He was so nice!!!  Totally sweet — he was standing by himself for a while, but then people started approaching him for photos!  And he was in the front row for Jill Stuart!

I love how you say that there was a celeb studded front row at Jill Stuart and I don’t have a clue who any of those faces are!
I love the movement in these photos, great job!

Alice — HA!  You obviously don’t watch enough reality TV!  :-)

It’s Kristin Cavalleri, Tinsley Mortimer and Jessica Szohr from Gossip Girl!  Plus Miss J and Nigel Barker were there from America’s Next Top Model, Kim and Kourtney Kardashian, Brad from Rachel Zoe and Jonathan from Spin Crowd!  :-) Good thing they had a long runway!
