Man, it is really a lot of fun having someone else in photos with me!  This was the second outfit that Jordan and I photographed together, and we went a little dressier this round.  I was kicking myself because I’ve seen Jordan’s dress at H&M so many times, but I never wanted to wait in line for a dressing room.  But I should have just bought it because it was ten dollars — and of course, it looked absolutely amazing on her!  I plan to scour all the H&Ms in the village until I’ve found the last one on Manhattan.

I bought this Rebecca Taylor dress for fashion week (see it on the runway here last year!), but it’s an easy transition into fall when paired with these amazing Charlotte Russe boots that I got after the Eric Daman launch party!  I’ve already had three people ask me where I got them, and I sort of giddily exclaim that they’re under $50.  I mean, it’s not a ten dollar dress, but a girl has to start somewhere, right?

Don’t forget to enter the Marshalls and T.J. Maxx giveaway here!  And of course, check out Ramshackle Glam for more photos from our shoot1

On me: Rebecca Taylor dress (on sale now!), gifted Charlotte Russe platform booties, Betsey Johnson tights, Forever 21 ring and earrings.

You girls are so cute!! And you’re right about that H&M dress… at that price, they’re practically paying you to wear it!

I *want* to say I saw it at the H&M at 5th & 51st last week when I was up there. I’m about 90% sure I saw it there… if it wasn’t that dress, they had one that was practically identical. Good luck finding it!

Awww… it looks like you two had a lot of fun.  I’m pretty sure I saw that dress the other day at the H&M on 34th & 6th Ave.  I’m kicking myself too now for not picking one up!

Hey Katy – i was looking at another of my favorite sites when this post popped into my mind – i guess H&M has got some really cute frilly girly dresses going on now, huh? Anyway, along with that post about the first dress you ever sewed made me think you might appreciate what’s going on over at Grosgrain right now – A whole bunch of great cardigan refashions – might be up your alley in terms of style *and* sewing level :)
