This little nook is my Manhattan version of a home office, which basically means that it’s where I do the majority of work for this blog — when I’m not sitting on the couch in front of the tv with my laptop in my lap, at least. We bought it because I need a spot to keep my magazines, files, knicknacks and camera equipment, and for the most part, I do a decent job of keeping it fairly tidy (although Chad may beg to differ on that one).
Tory Burch sent me these cute flats in January, and they were total lifesavers during Fashion Week. I’d stow them in every bag I carried, so I could change out of my heels if I had an hour or two away from the tents. I love that she’s making her classic flats with a more subtle logo — I usually try to remove anything that screams DESIGNER from my clothes, so these were right up my alley.
This top is so old — I think I got it in high school, and I hadn’t pulled it out in a while until I was putting this outfit together. Now that preppy is ‘in’ again, I figured it would look cute and sort of retro for this look!
