Hi, I’m Katy.

I started SugarLaws in 2007 with recipes, a camera, and a lot more time on my hands. Nearly twenty years later, life looks a little different — and a lot fuller — but I’m still here, sharing the things I love.

Since 2007

SugarLaws grew up with me.

What started as a food blog in 2007 has always been about more than just one thing. Over the years, SugarLaws has evolved — just like my life — from recipes to fashion, beauty, travel, career, marriage, kids, home and everything in between.

It’s become a place to share the things that make life a little more beautiful, a little easier, and a lot more fun.

And then there were eight.

Somewhere along the way, SugarLaws became less about what I was cooking for dinner and more about the life happening around the dinner table.

Today we’re a family of eight — two parents, six kids, and approximately four thousand opinions about everything we own.

It’s busy, it’s loud, and it’s a lot of fun — and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
