Ingredients

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 16 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup blueberries

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk the flour, baking soda, and salt, then put the bowl aside. In a large bowl, whisk the brown sugar, sugar, and melted butter until the mixture is smooth. Add the vanilla extract and eggs, and whisk until everything comes together. Stir in the flour mixture just until it disappears into the dough. With a rubber spatula, gently fold in the blueberries. Cover the dough with plastic wrap and chill it for at least 2 hours and up to overnight.
  2. Place the oven racks in the middle and upper positions, and heat the oven to 375 degrees F. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper. Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets. Bake for 13-15 minutes, until the cookies are golden. Let them sit on the baking sheet for 3 minutes, then move them to a wire rack to cool completely.
