blue suede shoes

December 8th, 2011

First of all, I hope you all are planning to come out to my book party tonight!  I just found out that Elaine Turner is giving $25 gift cards to everyone who comes out, so be sure to stop by!  (Details here, if you haven’t seen them yet!)

I’ve had a crazy busy week that’s been pretty darn terrific.  I actually wore this outfit on Sunday, when it was about seventy-five degrees here (swoon).  This dress might have been my absolute favorite pick on their website, and I was so happy that it was as comfortable and cute on me as it was the way they styled it!  I’ve worn it probably a dozen times already.

These heels were a gift from Payless from the trip last week — I specifically brought an extra large suitcase so I could stock up on shoes and bags to bring home.  🙂 A few — including these — have already worked their way into my daily wardrobe.  (They’re not available yet in blue on the Payless website, bu similar ones are here!)

I wasn’t sure at first about how much use I’d get out of blue shoes, but the truth is, they kind of go with everything!  Who knew?

Gifted Juicy Couture dress, gifted Rachel Rachel Roy vest, gifted Payless heels, Aqua and Accessorize bracelets, gifted Rebecca Minkoff M.A.B. purse.

I’m sure your book party will be a real success! I’ll have to add it to my list of eBooks to get, maybe add it to my Xmas list?

I’m so happy that you look like you are loving Houston! I literally just landed in Austin a few hours ago and am so excited to be back in Texas. Wish I could have made it to your signing 🙂

Okay this outfit is all kinds of fabulous!!
I tried on that RRR vest a few weeks ago and was so tempted to get it. It’s a great intro into the faux fur vest world (I don’t own one) because it looks stylish and feels so soft.
