One tough thing about moving is that I suddenly have to come up with a new place to take all my outfit photos! Our apartment in NYC had a private roofdeck that was basically the best thing ever for fashion blogging, and the (very narrow) balcony in our new apartment isn't really the same.

So I took these up at the pool in our building -- not a permanent solution (it's too crowded and I get so embarrassed when other people are around when I'm doing outfit photos) but terrific to show you guys this new Lanvin top!

Shopping in Houston is a lot different than NYC -- much more mall-focused and a lot less about finding the right neighborhoods and wandering around on foot. But one of my most amazing discoveries so far has been this incredible consignment store, where you can find pieces like this amazing Lanvin top for $200! I don't know what season it's from, so I'm not sure if I can technically call it vintage, but I know for sure that it wasn't in department stores for anything less than $1000. Vintage shopping definitely takes a little more digging than typical shopping trips to find exactly what you want, but now I've got the bug!

I can't wait to see what else they get in!
