cinnamon almonds from sugarlaws

Who is planning a holiday party this month?

Wait — all of you?  Really?

I thought so.

Well, with that in mind, consider adding this recipe to your menu.  These nuts are delicious, and a great finger food that’s filling and healthy.  Perfect to absorb some of the glasses of champagne or egg nog you’re serving.  And did I mention that they’re incredibly easy?  Mix, bake, stir, bake, stir, and then bake.  Serve!  It’s almost the same process as granola, where you’re slowly roasting them at a low temperature in the oven — absolutely delicious.

Cinnamon Almonds Recipe

1 egg white
1 teaspoon cold water
2 cups whole almonds
1/2 cup white sugar
1 tbsp ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt

Preheat your oven to 250 degrees.  Meanwhile, beat the egg white and water until frothy.  Add the nuts, and stir until well coated. Mix the sugar, salt, and cinnamon, and sprinkle over the nuts. Toss to coat, and spread evenly on the prepared pan.

Bake the nuts for 1 hour, stirring every 20 minutes. Allow to cool, then store in airtight containers.

I’m having a party next weekend.  I always serve sugared pecans, and this year I will mix these in too.  Thanks!

Mmm, and I bet they smell great when cooking, too. Thanks for the idea.

You must also see the states wonders. A cup of red
wine. You will be sure to be one with mother nature, this is a perfect destination for both
couples who have been a couple of ways. Who could they be referring to?
