Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups toasted coconut
- 4 cups water
- Fine grain sea or Himalayan salt
- Natural sweetener to taste, optional
Directions
- Add the toasted coconut to a blender along with the water and salt. Blend until the mixture looks very smooth, then keep blending a bit longer for the creamiest result.
- Pour the mixture through a nut milk bag or a fine strainer to remove the solids. If you want it sweeter, stir in your preferred natural sweetener to taste, such as liquid stevia or maple syrup.
- Chill the coconut milk in the refrigerator.
