Truth be told — I didn’t even see The Great Gatsby when it was in theaters, even though I’m sure I’ll completely adore it when I do! We don’t see a lot of movies before they’re on demand or on Netflix, but I actually wonder if that one is worth it to go see in theaters just for the 3D!

And, more importantly… just for the costumes! I can’t wait to sneak beautiful twenties-inspired pieces into my wardrobe, before or after I see the actual movie! I love how that period had so much glamour and polish — every dress more beautiful than the last.

So until I get to see the movie (or invent a time-travel machine), I’ll be incorporating so many beautiful twenties-styled pieces into my outfits! This Parker dress is an instant classic — the beading gives it such sophistication and elegance, and the pattern and cut keep it modern but still completely classic! I’ve loved Parker for so many years now, I can’t even tell you guys how honored I am to wear some of their newest, most beautiful pieces! (I actually wore a Parker dress out for our four-year anniversary celebration this weekend — their dresses are so beautiful, how could I resist?)

And obviously I needed some twenties-inspired jewelry to go with it!  This Mark. bracelet was absolutely perfect — and it matched almost exactly with these earrings!  Obviously this outfit was meant to be. 🙂

Gifted Parker dress, Zara heels, Mark. bracelet, Carolee earrings.

Great dress. This is a great modern take on the 1920s style! I’m pretty sure it is spelled Gatsby not Gatzby.

I can only imagine how heavy that dress is! But it’s beautiful; simple design but the beads amp it up. Very cute and I love your accessories! They’re so sparkly and pretty!
