moving neutral

November 18th, 2011

See that?

That’s the last two years of my life you’re looking at.

It feels surreal to be typing these words, but I have big news this morning.  BIG news.

I am so, so proud and excited to announce that my novel is finally for sale!  It’s a scary thing to spend so many hours, months, and years pouring yourself into a book, and then suddenly to turn it out into the world.

I’m terrified, awed, and so, so excited, but mostly I’m just happy that readers are finally going to meet these characters that I know and love and have lived with for the past few years.

I’ve got so much exciting stuff coming up — Moving Neutral is for sale on Amazon now, and will be out on iBooks and Barnes and Noble next week.  And for anyone in the Houston area, I’m planning a book party in December, so stay tuned for the invite!

What’s that?  You want to know what the book is about?  (Jeez, you guys are so demanding!)

So… ok.  Here goes nothing…. (I hope you guys like it!)

Congratulations, that’s so exciting! I’m studying creative writing in school so it’s nice to see people still writing (and successfully publishing) original fiction. I guess there’s hope for me! (lol.) Congrats again!

That’s so amazing!  There is a great bookshop near me called Blue Willow Bookshop and they have lots of events and author readings.  You should contact them and see if you can work in!  They tend to be fairly small but have very dedicated people.
