With summer coming to a close, everyone’s favorite activity is spending time outdoors! But whether you’re planning an afternoon cookout or a day at the beach, it’s crucial to remember sun protection.
However, even after taking those precautions, sometimes you still end up burned. Maybe you missed a spot, or maybe you fell asleep in the sun -- it happens. When your skin is paying the price, there are some quick, easy things you can do to conceal a sunburn.
1. Start with a stick concealer and apply it to the parts of your skin that are the most red — probably the tip of your nose and the apples of your cheeks.
2. Follow it up with a light liquid or powder foundation. Liquid provides more coverage, but powder will be easier on your sun-sensitive skin. Avoid rosy tones like pinks and reds, and focus on bronze and nude shades in your blush and lipstick.
3. Dust your face with a translucent powder and smile — your skin looks great again!
