painted lady dresses

May 16th, 2011

A few weeks ago, I went by a preview for an adorable new independent designer, Ally Chomer of Painted Lady Dresses.  Ally was totally adorable, and I fell in love with this simple, chic pink dress — the perfect style for a summer night out!  I’m so happy that we’ve finally hit the season where cute dresses are actually weather-appropriate, because I couldn’t have held out much longer.

Ally was sweet enough to offer you guys 30% off her gorgeous designs, by the way!  Enter the code Sugar30 for 30% off at this week!

New York in the spring and summer is such an awesome city.  During the winter, it feels like we spend half our time hibernating and the other half battling the elements, but now that spring is finally here, we can concentrate on having some fun.  On my way out of town last weekend, I stopped into Nine West and picked up this amazing pair of sandals (for 40% off, no less).  Now I’m searching for all the cute occasions I can pull this whole outfit out for — it’s too perfect to stay in my closet for long.

And… I did something pretty exciting this weekend — scroll down for a little preview pic below, and stay tuned for the big reveal!

Gifted Painted Lady jersey drape dress, Nine West sandals, gifted Brahmin purse, Forever 21 earrings and sunglasses, H&M and gifted Accessorize bracelets.

That dress is so pretty! I did some shopping this weekend too – at Zara! Sometimes I forget how cute (and cheap) their clothes are so I’m glad I went there and got some great deals!

Bianca — I know!  They can be hit or miss, but you can totally find amazing deals there.  I have to stop back in!

And Katherine — it’s actually the same length, they just tuck a lot of hair into the tinfoil to do the highlights.  I can’t go much shorter because I need the versatility of long hair for hair tutorials, etc.

It belongs to high quality that essentially meets the
defined standards. I’ve noticed there is a trend emerging that is
helping women to embrace their bodies, their curves.

During the early 1920’s, the greatest influences that was
exerted on the dress code was the women liberalization movement- i.
