Ingredients
- 2 cups old fashioned oats
- 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 Tbsp packed light-brown sugar
Directions
- Heat the oven to 325 degrees F. Add the oats to a mixing bowl and set them aside for a minute.
- In a microwave-safe mixing bowl, or in a saucepan if you’d rather, combine the peanut butter, honey and brown sugar. Warm the mixture in the microwave until it becomes smooth and loose enough to pour, about 25 seconds.
- Pour the warm peanut butter mixture over the oats. Use a spatula to fold and turn everything together until the oats are evenly coated.
- Spread the mixture in an even layer on a baking sheet lined with a silicone baking mat or parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven until the granola is golden brown, about 18 – 20 minutes, stirring once around the halfway point.
- Let the granola cool completely; it gets crisp after it cools. Store it in an airtight container.
