pink pleats

September 8th, 2014

One reason I’m actually sort of happy I didn’t go to Fashion Week: Bear got his first cold last week, and I promptly caught it from him about two days later.  So I’ve been completely knocked out this weekend, and very relieved I wasn’t dealing with traveling, hotels, crowds, or anything NYFW-related these past few days.

However, back when I thought I was going, I bought a few cute little outfits as potential choices to bring with me, and this romper is one.  I’m not sure it would have ultimately made the cut — it’s a little too casual for Lincoln Center, not quite my A-Game style.  On the other hand, for everyday life here in Houston, I completely love it.  (Also, the deep-V is incredibly breastfeeding-friendly… which most of my clothing choices revolve around these days!)

On the model, this was worn with nothing underneath (check it out here), which, OMG — they did a great job pinning it or something.  Because I put it on without anything underneath… and I was naked.  Fortunately, this little bandeau gave me a little coverage, and I think a tank could work underneath too.

And for those of you who like the style, I’ve linked to a few other cute options below!  xo

Sabo Skirt romper, LF bandeau top, FEED x Rachel Roy purse.

    Are you in your 30s?
If so, don’t you see how COMPLETELY inappropriate this rag is to wear by a 30 year old woman? You would never catch a grown woman wearing this in Paris!
    And enough of “you guys”!
    That’s young teens’ talk!!!
