pool party!

September 29th, 2012

I can’t believe September is almost over — this month has honestly been one of the best of my entire life. I know I spent quite a bit of it moaning about how crazy everything was, but I am SO incredibly grateful for this amazing month and all the opportunities that it brought!

And… our pool is finally filled with water!  There’s still some work to finish, but I wanted to show you guys a sneak peek!  I’m particularly proud of how it turned out because I worked with the pool company to visualize and design it — and it turned more beautiful than I even imagined!  (In case you’re curious, you can check out my original inspiration photo on Pinterest here!)

It’s a pretty amazing transformation, considering that on July 31, our backyard was the photo below.  Quite a before and after!

This is amazing! Way to see what it COULD be. I’ve never particularly wanted a pool until seeing this.

beautiful pool. Hope you are going to heat it so you can enjoy this year. Our’s is already at 78° so no more swimming for us until kids come and we heat.

    Hi Katy,
I adore your house. My husband and I are looking into moving back to houston and we are currently house hunting. Did you use a realtor to find your home? Im really into a mediterranean style home and would love to know if you have any advice since you just went thru the process? Thanks!
