Honey Beer Bread
A buttery honey beer loaf with a tender crumb and crisp edges, made for slicing warm straight from the pan.

Ingredients
- Salt
- Butter
- Baking powder
- Honey
- Flour
- Half
- Melted butter
Directions
- Set your oven for 350°F. In a large bowl, whisk the flour with the baking powder and salt until the mixture looks evenly blended.
- Gradually add the beer and honey to the dry ingredients, stirring as you go, until everything is incorporated.
- Tip half of the melted butter onto the bottom of a 9×5-inch bread pan, then use a pastry brush to coat the inside of the pan. Spoon in the batter and smooth it into an even layer. Brush the rest of the melted butter across the top.
- Bake for 40 to 50 minutes, stopping when a knife or toothpick poked into the center comes back clean. Take the pan out, set it on a wire rack, and leave the bread to cool for at least 10 minutes. Cut it with a bread knife and serve it warm.
