, Rice vinegar, Sugar, Salt, Sushi rice, Nori seaweed sheets, Avocado, Cucumber Begin by preparing the sushi rice. In a medium saucepan over high heat, bring 2 cups of cold water to a boil. Once boiling, add 1 cup of sushi rice and reduce the heat to low. Simmer for 15 minutes or until all the water is absorbed. While the rice is cooking, prepare the sushi vinegar by combining 1/4 cup of rice vinegar with 2 tablespoons of sugar and 1 teaspoon of salt in a small bowl. Stir until dissolved and set aside. Once the rice is cooked, transfer it to a large bowl and pour the prepared sushi vinegar over it while stirring with a wooden spoon or spatula. Allow it to cool for 10 minutes before using it in your California Roll Sushi Bowls.

Cut one sheet of nori seaweed into thin strips and place them in each bowl along with some avocado slices and cucumber slices . Top with some cooled sushi rice and serve!.
