Broccoli Gratin

Broccoli Gratin

Ingredients

  • 2 heads of broccoli, cut into florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add broccoli florets and cook for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and set aside.
  3. In a small bowl, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, cheddar cheese, butter, salt and pepper; mix well.
  4. Grease an 8-inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray. Place cooked broccoli in the dish and pour heavy cream over top. Sprinkle breadcrumb mixture evenly over the top of the broccoli.
  5. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown on top and bubbly around the edges. Serve warm. Enjoy!
