Ingredients

1 can artichoke hearts, drained and quartered

2 tablespoons butter

2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

1 cup milk

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese, divided

1/4 cup bread crumbs

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F . Grease a 2-quart baking dish. In a small bowl, mix together the bread crumbs, 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder; set aside. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Whisk in flour until smooth; cook for 1 minute. Gradually whisk in milk until thickened; remove from heat and stir in remaining Parmesan cheese. Place artichoke hearts in prepared baking dish; pour white sauce over top and sprinkle with bread crumb mixture. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
