In a large bowl, combine the warm water, sugar and salt. Sprinkle the yeast over the top and let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
Add the flour to the bowl and mix with a wooden spoon until a dough forms. Turn out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 5 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place in an oiled bowl, cover with plastic wrap and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Preheat oven to 425°F . Punch down dough and turn out onto a lightly floured surface. Divide into two equal pieces and roll each piece into a 12 inch circle. Place on greased baking sheets or pizza pans. Top with desired toppings and bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
