Ingredients
1/2 cup butter, softened
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan with butter or non-stick cooking spray. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder and salt; set aside. In a large bowl, beat together the cream cheese and butter until creamy. Add in the sugar and mix until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract. Gradually add in the dry ingredients until just combined . Fold in the chocolate chips. Spread batter into prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown on top and a toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars and serving. Enjoy!.
