Ingredients
1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
1 pound smoked sausage, cut into 1/2-inch slices
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
2 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
3 cloves garlic, minced
3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 cup chicken broth
1/4 cup heavy cream
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F . In a medium bowl, whisk together cream, chicken broth, and flour until smooth. Set aside. In a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add chicken cubes and season with salt and pepper, paprika, onion powder, and garlic powder. Cook until chicken is cooked through, about 5 minutes. Push chicken to one side of the skillet and add olive oil to the other side of the skillet. Add sausage slices and cook for 2 minutes per side or until lightly browned on both sides. Add Brussels sprouts to the skillet and stir everything together so that all ingredients are evenly distributed in the pan. Pour cream mixture over top of everything in the skillet and stir again to combine all ingredients together evenly in the pan. Place skillet in preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes or until Brussels sprouts are tender and sauce has thickened slightly around edges of pan . Serve warm with your favorite sides.
