How to make?
Ingredients
1 head of cauliflower, cut into florets
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup cornstarch
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
3/4 cup cold water
Salt and pepper to taste
Oil for frying
Directions
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. In a shallow bowl, mix together the salt, pepper, smoked paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, cornstarch and all-purpose flour. Dip each cauliflower floret into the mixture and coat evenly. Carefully place the coated cauliflower florets into the hot oil and fry for about 5 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Remove from the oil and place on a paper towel lined plate to drain any excess oil. In a separate bowl, mix together the cold water and remaining cornstarch until smooth. Slowly pour this mixture into the hot oil while stirring constantly with a wooden spoon or spatula until it thickens . This will create a crispy coating on your fried cauliflower florets! Once all of your cauliflower is fried and coated in the sauce, serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce! Enjoy!.
