Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tablespoon baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

½ cup cold butter, cut into small cubes

¾ cup buttermilk

2 tablespoons fresh herbs , finely chopped

Directions

Preheat oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. In a medium bowl, combine the herbs, buttermilk, butter, salt, baking powder and flour until it forms a soft dough. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently for 1 minute. Roll the dough out to about ½ inch thick and cut into 2-inch rounds using a biscuit cutter or the rim of a glass. Place on prepared baking sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown on top. Serve warm with butter or jam if desired. Enjoy!.
